Sale-a-bration is coming to a close for another year and along with it goes the beautiful Flowering Foils DSP. Today I am going to show you a set of cards that I created using the Flowering Foils and the So Very Vellum DSP. Tuesday March 31st is the last day to place a qualifying order to receive these awesome papers.
These are the three cards that I created with the Flowering Foils. I used the So Very Vellum for my color choices. My first idea was to use the in-color ribbon on them but as I started on my second card it dawned on me that that the Pool Party and Soft Sea Foam were not in-colors. Duh! So I had to come up with another ribbon choice. I decided on the Metallic Gold ribbon but the vanilla background clashed with my card front so I colored them with the corresponding Stampin’ Blends.
This card uses Purple Posy and Highland Heather ink since we have no Purple Posy ink. I used sponge daubers to color the flowers which were fussy cut from the Flowering Foils DSP. I backed each piece of the So Very Vellum with its corresponding card stock.
This card uses Soft Sea Foam for its base.
The final card uses Pool Party as the base color.
Supplies Used
Card Base – Purple Posy, Pool Party or Soft Sea Foam cut at 5 1/2″ x 4 1/4″
Basic Balck – cut at 5″ x 3 3/4″
Whisper White – cut at 4 7/8″ x 3 5/8″
Purple Posy, Pool Party or Soft Sea Foam – cut at 1 1/2″ x 4 7/8″
So Very Vellum in each of the three colors – cut at 1 1/2″ x 4 7/8″
