Check out the fun sketch below from Freshly Made Sketches. I used this sketch to create a thank you card using the Iconic dies. These are a hidden gem in the annual catalog on page 163. You can see some samples of it on page 18. If you are like me these did not jump out and say hey look at me!
Today is Feb 22, 2022 so its 2/22/22 so it is a palindrome. In case you don’t know that is a number or word that is the same written forward or backwards. My granddaughter’s name is a palindrome – Hannah! I made a bank deposit today from my stamping classes and the cash totaled $222. What a coincidence! My retired math teacher brain was thrilled!
OK back to the card. It is Misty Moonlight which is an in-color that will be retiring soon so if you love this color stock up now. The designer series paper is from the New Horizons pack. This is awesome paper in the mini catalog. Check it out on page 43. It practically makes a card all by itself without much stamping.
My measurements are as follows:
Misty Moonlight 5 1/2 x 8 1/2 scored at 4 1/4.
Basic White 3 1/2 x 4 3/4
Night of Navy 3 1/8 x 4 1/2
DSP 3 x 4 3/8
The circle are die cut from Picture This dies in Misty Moonlight.
The flowers, the bee and the mushroom are die cut in Basic White using the Iconic dies.
The sentiment from the Beauty of Friendship stamp set using Misty Moonlight and Basic White. It was ide cut using Tasteful Labels dies.
I assembled it as shown using dimensionals on the circles, the bee, the mushroom, the thank you and the biggest flower..
