When Wild Cats showed up in the Stampin Up catalog I knew I had to have it to make my grandson a birthday card. He has always loved tigers. We took him to the Nature Center in Asheville when he was just barely talking. He was excited to maybe see a tiger. The Nature Center only has animals that are native to the Southern Appalachians so I knew there would not be any tigers. I tried to pass off a cougar as a tiger thinking he was too young to know the difference. He politely told me “Dat not no tiger DeeDee”. Fond memories – he is about to turn 14 and is way taller than me and just as smart. I hope he likes his birthday card.
I cased the card in the annual catalog on page 44. I changed the sentiment to a birthday one. The tiger is cut from an image on the designer series paper. Here are some close-ups and a picture of the inside of my card. Enjoy!
