My card was created for Kylie Bertucci’s June International Blog Highlights. I wanted to use Stampin’ Up! ‘s Earthen Textures stamp set so I looked to Pinterest for inspiration. I found a card created by Su Mohr and used her basic design. I changed up the colors and the sentiment for my card. The card base is a returning color, Berry Burst, cut 4 1/4″ x 11 and scored at 5 1/2″. The next layer is from the Glorious Gingham DSP cut to 4 1/8″ x 5 3/8″. The next layer is Basic White cut to 3 3/4″ x 5″. This layer is embossed with one of the Stripes & Spatters Embossing Folder. It is a small folder so it will fit on the diagonal in the Stamp & Cut Embossing Machine. After embossing, I attached it to the card front. Next I die cut out of Berry Burst the large leaf die. The die cut the pot from a piece of the Bright & Beautiful DSP. Using a hint from Su, I attached another piece die cut from Berry Burst to the back of my die cut piece for stability of the pot. Next I used the die with a bunch of lines on it to emboss the pot. I embossed mine before I glued the backing but think it would be better to do it after putting them together. Using the same piece of DSP, I stamped the sentiment in Berry Burst. I die cut it with Stylish Shapes dies. I cut it shorter than the die.

Nice clean & simple card with a modern feel.
FYI, when I tried to click on the photo on Kylie’s Highlights it tried to get me to sign in to your WP admin site. I had to type in your website into my search bar to get in.
Thanks Kelley! THe link does not do that on my computer but did it on other devices. I cannot fix it so I asked Kylie to make it go to the right place.
Beautiful card design. Love the textured background.
Thank you Tricia!
