The Tech4Stampers Blog Hop is today and the theme is Designer Series Paper. I chose Wildly Flowering as my Designer Series Paper and picked out my colors from the DSP. I decide to feature the new Basic Beige card stock on my card. I based my layout on several cards done by a fellow demo, Brian King.

  1. Card base is Moody Mauve cut to 5 1/2″ x 8 1/2″ scored at 4 1/4″
  2. Next layer is Basic Beige cut to 5 1/4″ x 4″.
  3. My 3 DSP strips are 1 1/4″ wide x 5″. Attach them to the Basic Beige piece.
  4. The circle piece was die cut using Early Espresso from the Spotlight on Nature Dies. The smaller inside circle was cut from Basic Beige. Attach together and to the card front.
  5. Now for the stamping. All was done using Basic Beige cardstock. The sentiment is from Country Birdhouse stamped with Misty Moonlight. The flowers and leaves were stamped from the Textured Floral stamp set using Misty Moonlight, Wild Wheat and Mossy Meadow ink. They were die cut using the Textured Floral Dies and the Nested Essential Dies.
  6. Attach flowers and leaves to card front and add the bling.

See this list below to check out all the other cards in the blog hop.
