The Tech4Stampers Blog Hop is today and the theme is Cards for Kids. I chose the cute little bunny from Playing in the Rain. He is flying a kite – how fun is that? Below is how I created my card.
- Card base is Azure Afternoon cut to 5 1/2″ x 8 1/2″ scored at 4 1/4″.
- Basic White is the second layer, cut to 5 1/4″ x 4″ and attached to card front.
- Next layer is Basic White cut to 5 1/4″ x 4″. Using the Wildflower Designs Dies, die cut the center saving the scalloped part. Emboss the outer part with the Dashing Designs embossing folder. attach both pieces to card front.
- Stamp the bunny on Basic White using Memento Black ink. Color with stamping blends – read Red, Gray Granite and Petal Pink. DIe cut using the Playing in the Rain dies.
- Die cut 4 leaves using Granny Apple Green.
- Die cut the kite using Basic White and Azure Afternoon.
- Stamp the sentiment in Azure Afternoon. Die cut it using Deckled Circles along with the next circle in Azure Afternoon.
- Arrange all the die cut pieces and attach to card. The bunny and the sentiment circle are popped up wit dimensionals.
- Add some bling.
See this list below to check out all the other cards in the blog hop.
