I am very late in posting this card as I spent Valentine’s Day trying to figure out why my blog posts were not being sent to you by email. I tweaked a few things, and it is now working again. I have no idea why! Technology is not my strong point, I am just happy when it works. We made this card in my January classes using the Adoring Hearts stamp set, matching Hybrid dies, and an embossing folder. The die cuts out 9 hearts at a time so I cut them for my stampers. I used the die to cut them and then ran them through the Stamp, Cut, and Embossing machine with the embossing folder. As I was doing the last one, it dawned on me that it was a hybrid embossing set. I could have done both in one step. DUH!
We made two other cards in the class as seen below. It was my first class since Hurricane Helene wreaked havoc on my home in September. Then Mother Nature gave us snow. I had to reschedule and then reschedule again because my driveway was too icy. Next week I am having my February classes and guess what is forecast. SNOW! We have not had any snow for 3 years and I can tell you I did not miss it. I loved snow when I was younger – now not so much!
