In my last post, I showed you a smaller version of the coneflower from Botanical Blooms. My coneflower today comes from a brand new stamp set in 2025-2026 Annual Catalog, Coneflower Celebrations. It is a bright and cheerful card but it has certainly been a problem for me this week ( not cheerful at all). All of my emails have stopped coming through on my computer so I was not able to get the picture of this card from my phone to my computer so I could post it. After several days of trying to fix it, I have called in IT help. In the meantime, I am using a cable to connect the two. That sounds easy but nothing is ever easy, at least not for me! Anyway I hope you like this card. The bundle comes with dies that cut out all the flowers for you. You just layer them together. Please leave me a comment if you would like to see a tutorial for this card.
Non stamping related news!
I wanted to share with you an interesting fact I heard this week. You know I was smack in the middle of the destruction Hurricane Helene unleased on western NC. Chris Justus, a former student of mine, is chief meteorologist for WYFF in Greenville, SC. He did a special on hurricanes this week while standing in the middle of the town of Chimney Rock which was devasted by Helene. So sad! Storms that are catastrophic have their names retired. Three of the hurricanes that have hit the Carolinas have been retired and have an odd similarity. Hurricane Hazel in 1954, Hugo in 1989 and Helene in 2024. All start with “H” and are exactly 35 years apart. Look out 2059!!!! I know I am old because I remember all three.

Thanks Lisa! I hope so too, but being a holiday weekend, I doubt it will get fixed before Tuesday!
