Sunrise Sailing is one of my new favorites from all the new stuff. I needed a graduation card for someone whose school colors are red, black and white and I also needed a masculine card for this blog hop so my card was born! The card base is black but I would much prefer Secret Sea but that is not the school colors. Next are layers of Real Red, Basic White and Balmy Blue. The Balmy blue piece was embossed with the Sunrise Sailing Hybrid Embossing Folder. These layers were all adhered to the card front.
Next, I stamped the sailboat on Basic White using Memento Black ink. The sails and the boat were stamped using Real Red. It was the die cut using the Sunrise Sailing dies. I stamped the sentiment on Basic White using Real Red. And whoops, I used a retired die to cut it out but a die from the Beautiful Butterflies Bundle would work great on the card. Sorry for my mistake! I also die cut two clouds from Basic White. The clouds were adhered to the card front then the sailboat and sentiment were adhered using dimensionals.
I hope you like my card and find some inspiration from the other stampers in this blog hop. Please click on each name to see their blog post.
