I belong to a group of stampers that Participate in a monthly blog hop. The theme for June is summer sunshine.

When I think of summer sunshine, thoughts of flowers, the beach and the outside come to mind. I am loving this new bundle, Impressions Abloom! Its name just screams summer and brightly colored flowers. I used the more daisy-shaped stamp for my flowers, stamping them in Misty Moonlight, Strawberry Slush and Daffodil Delight. I found it best to stamp the more patterned stamp first and then the solid flower after stamping off. The centers are Timid Tiger.
So here are my instructions:
- Score a piece of Strawberry Slush that’s cut to 5 1/2″ X 8 1/2″ at 4 1/4″.
- Adhere the next two pieces – Basic White cut to 5 1/4″ x 4″ and the DSP cut to 5″ x 3 3/4″.
- Using the oval die cut the Basic White and Strawberry Slush. Attach the frame to the white piece and to the card front. I can’t remember where I heard this tip but if you adhere the white oval first then the frame it does not get so out of shape.
- Next I stamped the flowers and die cut them along with the stem, leaves and the light blue (Cloud Cover) pieces. These were adhered to the oval. the only flower popped up was the yellow one.
- Lastly, I stamped the sentiment in Misty Moonlight and die cut with the Stylish Shapes die. I pooped it up with dimensionals.
