Yesterday my blog post told you how these cards ideas came to be. Please click here if you would like to see the whys and how’s. Here is card number 2.
This cards uses the beautiful new in-color Moody Mauve. The card front is created just like the one from yesterday but with different DSP and cardstock. The flowers are so simple with the stamps from the Cheerful Daisies set. I stamped them on Basic White and die cut them with the coordinating dies.
I stamped the solid stamp in the bottom right using Moody Mauve stamped off once. That means after you ink it up stamp it first on scrap paper. Then using the stamp to the left of the one we just used stamp full strength with the Moody Mauve. I found it pretty easy to line up these two stamps. Do the same steps to stamp the half flower in the top right. Stamp both centers using the large and small one in Wild Wheat. Stamp two leaves also in Wild Wheat. Stamp the sentiment in Moody Mauve on a scrap of Basic White. Die cut all the stamped pieces with the Cheerful Daisies dies and also two of the leafy things in Wild Wheat. Don’t actually know what to call these things. Someone said they look like coral. If you have a good name for them please leave me a comment. Attach the small leaves, the sentiment and the daisies with dimensionals. Attach the leafy things behind the large daisy. There you have it – another great card using the Cheerful Daisies stamp set and the DSP.
