I created the above card for the Global Design Project #GDP397. I like to use challenges to spark my creative juices. They give me a starting point which is a very good thing for my non creative mind. I used the three colors, Azure Afternoon, Blueberry Bushel and Berry Burst. That’s why I have blue leaves. If you click on the image below you will see all the beautiful creations for this challenge.
Mu card base is Blueberry Bushel cut to 5 1/2″ x 8 1/2″ scored at 4 1/4″. The next layer is Azure Afternoon cut to 5 1/4″ x 4″ the a piece of Basic White that is 5″ x 3 3/4″. I attached these tree pieces together. On scrap Basic White, I stamped the stem, leaves and sentiment in Blueberry Bushel. I stamped the largest background flower by stamping off once with Berry Burst. The center is stamped in Azure Afternoon. Then all were die cut along with the flower insert in Berry Burst. I glued them all together and put on the card front. The flower center and the sentiment were raised with dimensionals. The sentiment was die cut using Stylish Shapes dies. It was a quick and easy card to make. I hope you will leave me a comment.
Here are the Stampin’ Up! products that I used for my card.
