Where I live in the mountains of North Carolina the leaves start turning beautiful colors in October, so that was the inspiration for my October customer thank you cards. I used the Designer Series Paper All About Autumn to pick the colors for my card. This beautiful paper is coming back to my online store next week. Be sure to grab a couple of packs!
Here is the whole group of my cards.
And here is the inside.
Here are the instructions for my card.
- Start with Very Vanilla 5 1/2″ x 8 1/2″. Score at 4 1/4″ and fold.
- Add a layer of Pretty Peacock cut 5 1/4″ x 4″.
- The middle piece of DSP is cut to 2″ x 5 1/8″. It is mounted on a piece of Pretty Peacock cut to 2 1/4″ x 5 1/8″.
- The top and bottom pieces of DSP are cut to 1 1/2″ x 5 1/8″. Attach to card front, then attach the piece from step 3.
- Die cut using the leaves from the Autumn Leaves dies. 1 in Pretty Peacock and Copper Clay, cut 2 from the copper piece of the Oxidized Copper and 1 from the other sheet of the Oxidized Copper.
- I glued the two leaves that are die cut from the Pretty Peacock and Copper Clay. I popped the other three up on dimensionals.
- The sentiment is stamped with Pretty Peacock on Very Vanilla and die cut with a die from the set. It is attached with dimensionals.
- I added a gem from the Adhesive-backed Speckled Dots.
