This card is for my niece who is getting married in December. I made this for her shower this coming weekend. My inspiration was the wrapping paper on my gift.
I used two stamp sets for my card – Something Fancy and Textured Floral. Here are my directions for my card.
The card base is Melon Mambo (one of my favs) 5 1/2″ x 8 1/2″, scored at 4 1/4″, folded and burnished.
The next layer is Bubble Bath cut 3 3/8″ x 4 5/8″.
Next is Basic White cut to 3 1/4″ x 4 1/2″. Using Bubble Bath ink, I stamped two of the large flower. the leaves are stamped with Granny Apple Green. I then ran it through the Stamp, Cut and Emboss machine using the Timeworn Embossing Folder. This was attached to the Bubble Bath piece.
Before adding the above piece to my card front, I cut a piece of Vellum Basics to 4 1/4″ x 2″. I attached this to the back of the above piece before attaching it to the card front. I did not wnat the glue to show on the vellum.
On scraps of Basic White, I stamped two small flowers and one big one. I die cut them with the Textured Floral Dies,
Using Granny Apple Green, I die cut several leaves.
I stamped the sentiment in Melon Mambo on Basic White and die cut with the second largest die from Nested Essentials.
I could not find something to fit behind the stamped piece so I used the largest flagged shape die to make a background without the flagged end. Do you know how to do this? Maybe I can show you on a video.
I attached the two pieces together and attached it to the card front with dimensionals.
Next I arranged the die cut flowers and leaves and glued them to the card front.
I added some bling
