April Thank You Cards – Textured Notes

Before I tell you about today’s card, I will share some news with you! The tree guys are here finally to take all the downed trees, leaning trees, root balls, etc., from my yard. This is damage from Hurricane Helene that roared through on September 27th and changed all of Western North Carolina forever. The area will come back, but some cannot be put back the way they were before the hurricane. I am told this was a 1000-year event, so it will not happen again soon.

Here is my April thank you card created with the TEXTURED NOTES BUNDLE.

I used two of the new in-colors on my thank you cards, Cloud Cover and Secret Sea along with the Textured Notes Bundle. I must not be the only one that likes this set since it is not available to order right now but it will be back.

The card base is Secret Sea and a panel of Cloud Cover die cut with the largest die from Textured Notes dies. Using the fifth largest die, I die cut 3 panels from Basic White. These three panels were stamped with the Secret Sea ink without reinking between the three. The lightest and darkest were attached to the card front. Next I attached a 1/2″ wide strip to the card front. The last panel was adhered using dimensionals along with the sentiment. The inside was stamped with the smaller leaves from the set.

Supplies are listed below but I cannot add the new in-colors until next week so if you want to duplicate my card you must have Secret Sea ink (#165285) and cardstock (#165624)and Cloud Cover cardstock (#165285).
