I belong to a wonderful group of stampers that participates in a monthly blog hop. The theme for July was to create a card based on the above sketch. I decided to use the Impressions Abloom Bundle to make my card for the hop—how do you think I did matching the sketch?

This is such a fun and versatile stamp set! Between the stamps and the coordinating dies, you can create a variety of beautiful flowers. You can choose to just stamp the flowers, just die-cut them, or combine both techniques. There are hundreds of possible combinations!

When you pair the bundle with the Floral Impression Designer Series Paper, the possibilities expand even further. The DSP brings in color, pattern, and texture that complements the floral designs beautifully.

I’ve been using the Impressions Abloom Bundle for many card designs lately—it’s the featured bundle for my July monthly card club, Club Dazzle!

So here are my instructions for my blog hop card:

  1. Score a piece of Thick Basic White that’s cut to 5 1/2″ X 8 1/2″ at 4 1/4″.
  2. Adhere the next two pieces together – Basic White cut to 4 1/2″ x 3 1/4″” and the Pretty in Pink Foil DSP (Flower Garden Foils #165511) cut to 5″ x 3 3/4″. Do not adhere to card yet.
  3. Adhere a piece of DSP cut to 1 3/4″ x 5 1/2″ to the panel created in step 2. Use your card front as a guide to how much to leave on each end. Attach a strip of ribbon to the panel before adhering it to the card front. I tied the bow separately and glued it to the ribbon.
  4. Using dies from the Spotlight on Nature dies, cut the Basic White and Strawberry Slush foil circles. Using dimensionals on both layers attach them to the card front.
  5. Next, I die cut 2 small flowers from Strawberry Slush and the centers from Fresh Freesia using the Impressions Abloom dies. I die cut 2 leaves and the stem from Granny Apple Green. I adhered the flower centers to the flowers. arrange the pieces on your Basic White circle and adhere with liquid glue.
