I belong to a wonderful group of stampers that participates in a monthly blog hop. The theme for August was Nature, and I chose the Prairie Grass stamp set to create my card—what do you think? Did I capture the nature theme?
This stamp set is so fun and versatile! You can stamp directly onto Designer Series Paper for added texture, or keep it simple with cardstock. I can already imagine how beautiful it would look heat embossed in white on a darker background—definitely something I want to try next!
So here are my instructions for my blog hop card:
- Score a piece of Calypso Coral that’s cut to 5 1/2″ X 8 1/2″ at 4 1/4″.
- Cut the 6 x 6 Designer Series Paper to 4 1/4″ x 5 1/2″.
- Stamp the two images from the Prairie Grass using the biggest one and the smallest one. I stamped them in Cajun Craze. Also stamp the sentiment.
- Using the third from the largest die from the Textured Notes dies, cut the center from your DSP piece.
- Adhere the larger piece to the card front. Pop up the middle piece with dimensionals. Embellish!
