I belong to a group of stampers that participates in the Build & Bloom blog hop every month. This month’s theme is children, so I chose the Cutest Crew Bundle to create my card. What child does not love bugs?

I just love the marching ants in this bundle. I used Poppy Parade as my card base. My first layer was made from the Cute as a Bug DSP cut 5 1/4″ x 4″. The plaid was cut from a piece of the DSP and added to the center of the card front. I die-cut a Basic White piece from the Perennial Postage die set and adhered it to the center of the card front. I stamped the ants in Memento Black ink on Basic White. They were colored using blends ( Granny Apple Green, Poppy Parade, Dark Crumb Cake), then die-cut. I stamped the sentiment on Crushed Curry using Gorgeous Grape ink. I die-cut with a die from the Perennial Postage dies, making it slightly larger. Then I adhered both to the card front.
