I belong to a group of stampers that participates in the Build & Bloom blog hop every month. This month’s theme is nature, so I chose the Simply Leaves Bundle to create my card. The bundle comes with a leaf punch. This punch is very versatile as I posted previously. Click here to see the other ways to use the leaf punch.
I used Secret Sea and Granny Apple Green to create my card. I stamped 2 leaves in Secret Sea and 1 in Granny Apple Green then punched them out with the leaf punch. I used Thick Basic White as the card base and added a strip of Secret Sea (3″ x 4 1/4″) embossed with the Seasonal Cheer Mini embossing folder. I added a panel of Basic White (2 3/4″ x 4 3/4″) to a panel of Granny Apple Green (3″ x 5″) and adhered it to the card front. I added the three leaves using dimensionals. The sentiment piece was created using Fern & Flora stamps set. The border was stamped using Granny Apple Green and the words were stamped using Secret Sea. I added some bling.
