This card was created using Botanical Layers for the Inspire, Create, Challenge #147. You may check it out by clicking on the image below.
This challenge inspired me to ink up the Botanical Layers stamp set. I used the beautiful Designer Series Paper, Inked Botanicals, as my starting point. This paper has many, many good color combinations. It coordinates with the Inked Botanicals Suite but I decided to use another stamp set.
My card base is Lost Lagoon cut 5 1//2″ x 8 1/2″ scored at 4 1/4″. The next layer is Basic White cut 5 1/4″ x 4″. The next layer is a floral piece from the Inked Botanicals DSP cut to 5″ x 3 3/4″.
Next I cut a coordinating piece of the DSP 1″ x 5″ and attached it to a piece of Basic White 1 1/4″. I attached this to the middle of the card.
Using the Stylish Shapes dies, I die cut the largest circle from Basic White. I colored it by sponging Lost Lagoon using a blending brush.
Next, I stamped the leaves from Botanical Layers and the sentiment in Lost Lagoon. I attached it using dimensionals to the card from. I added some jewels.
