I belong to a group of stampers that participate in the Build & Bloom blog hop every month. This month’s theme is birthdays, so I chose the Gears & Textures Bundle to create my card. Mine is a masculine birthday as a bonus!

I have used this set several times recently! I made my grandson an 18th birthday card with spinning gears, but I forgot to take a picture before mailing it! Bummer! We are making a card with a spinner in my April in-person classes so come join us for some fun stamping.

I used Pecan Pie as my card base. After stamping off with Pecan Pie ink, I stamped some randomly on the card front. I also used these same stamps to stamp on the designer series paper using Misty Moonlight ink. I die cut the gears from the metallic DSP and adhered them to the card front. I stamped “Happy Birthday” in Versamark ink and heat-embossed it using Metallic Powder. It is die cut using a die from the Words of Beauty Dies. It is adhered using dimensionals.
